The possibilities are endless combining different flavors & fillings to pleasantly surprise your guests.
All of our Tortes and Tarts are best served at room temperature. Remove Tortes or Cakes from your refrigerator two hours before serving.
You need a clean damp towel to wipe the knife clean every few slices & a jug of water to rinse the Knife. If the knife gets too sticky the cake slices will become ragged and untidy on the edges.

Traditional English Fruitcake
Traditional English Wedding Cake is a Rich Fruitcake; It is made with Fresh Butter, Muscovado Sugar, free range eggs & flour. Raisins & Sultanas that have been plumped in French Brandy. Ground Almonds, Cherries, Orange & Lemon Citron are also added, along with Treacle and select sweet Spices. When baked the Cake is soaked in French Brandy and coated with Marzipan & Royal Icing. The top layer of the wedding cake is called the "Christening Cake, and is traditionally saved for the baptism of their first child.
