Cakes are customized to your taste & budget. Tortes n Tarts Wedding Cake prices start at $4.25 per serving for
basic flavors & designs.

Standard Wedding Cakes are iced with our Classic European Butter cream, which is ivory in color. Optional coatings are available such as Marzipan, Fresh Whipped Cream, Cream Cheese, Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate fudge & European Rolled Fondant, Premium flavors, fillings and icings are an additional $0.25-$1.50 per serving. Rolled Fondant Wedding Cake prices start at $5.25 per serving. In creating your wedding cake, the final cost is determined by the amount of time it takes to finish your cake with the complexity of design and the flavors chosen . Some cakes can be made and decorated in one day, while others require weeks of preparation. The more time required creating your custom cake, the higher the price. There is a $250.00 minimum on all wedding cake orders.

Wedding Cakes can be adorned with your choice of fresh flowers, or hand made Gum paste or Sugar Flowers. You may also schedule for your florist to have flowers onsite for us to finish your Cake or I can order them for you. We can also provide customized toppers or you can provide your own.

If you provide us with a color swatch we will make every possible effort to get a perfect match, but it must be understood that when working with food dye some colors have a tendency to darken with time.

For an additional touch of Elegance & Grace try our tiered square, heart, diamond, hexagon Petal or Oval designs.

Delivery
Delivery and setup of your cake is included in the price to certain premium venues in the Gig Harbor area. Delivery starts at $15.00. There will be a charge of $2.00 per mile (one way) for delivery outside the covered area.
We reserve the right to make delivery decisions based on what is practical for the cake, regarding timing and weather conditions. Specialty Cakes often require on site set up, for premium display.
Please have someone at the reception site when the cake is to be delivered. I will need someone to sign that the cake was delivered and setup as ordered. Once the cake deliverer photographs the cake & leaves,
Tortes n Tarts is not responsible for cakes after they have been set on the designated table.

If the Client opts for Pick Up Tortes n Tarts is not responsible for the Cake after leaving the Premesis

 

PROP RENTALS
Stack or colonnade your tiered wedding cakes using unique cake stands & Boards
We offer a wide range of Acrylic Cake Stands, Raised silver stands, Acrylic pillars and plates. These items can be rented with use fees ranging from $15-$25 with a fully refundable deposit to complete the rental agreement. All Stands & Props must be returned in the condition rented within 4 days for a full refund of the Stand/prop deposit. I will charge a fee of $25.00 if I have to pick them up and the deposit fee will be kept if props are not returned within 1 weeks

 

Our Policy
Terms are 50% Retainer / Deposit down to reserve the day, and the Balance is due 10 days prior to the event. After ordering your cake, final design & flavor choices must be made 4 weeks prior to the event. All changes to the original contract must be given in writing and initialed by Tortes n Tarts No changes can be made within four weeks of Delivery. Additional Sheet Cakes may be ordered if there will be more guests than anticipated for $2.50 a serving.

Cancellation Clause
There is a non-refundable charge of $100 due to the high cost of procuring the specialty items required for the cake. And the deposit and or all payments made is non refundable within four weeks of the wedding. If the wedding is rescheduled to a later date due to unforeseeable circumstances we will honor you original Cake order with proper notice of delay and a fee of $50.00.
